Interviewed by the Bulgarian channel Sportal, our Radoslav Kirilov talked about his Slavia Sofia, the Bulgarian cup semi-final against CSKA city rivals and the prospects of the Bulgarian national team of which he is now a key piece.

"Our advantage is that we are a good team, we have a coach who has been working with us for a long time. We have less tension, no one expects Slavia to win the Cup, but that doesn't mean that we in the locker room don't believe in this success. We have fast, sharp players, they have them too, I hope we are focused and get the best out of the game. We will try to do our job and we shouldn't be interested in what will happen in the other semifinal. On the rest of the league

"I'm not a person who likes to talk a lot, I try to do my job and to set an example for young players, who are not few in Slavia, you know. We will try to get the maximum number of points in the remaining matches."

On the Bulgarian national team

"I followed the whole match between Italy and North Macedonia, the guests played quite hard and waited for their chance, this shows that football is sometimes an illogical game. Even small countries like us have their chances to reach a certain success. All the teams are more or less equal, maybe Gibraltar is the outsider, we have to find consistency and we have every chance to be first in the group. I remember well my debut against Belarus, my first goal against Belarus. Ukraine, the matches with Switzerland and Italy, it has always been an honor to be part of the national team. Today we invest a lot in football abroad and we have to take this path. In my opinion we have good players, I don't know where the wire, I understand the football fan, we are all football fans. We must support our country and the national team. "
